project: Aviation acquisition

As part of the TransMedics acquisition of an aviation division, I was entrusted with driving the visual identity and brand integration across multiple touchpoints. My responsibilities included overseeing the creation of a cohesive brand experience that seamlessly blended the legacy of the acquired company with our own.

I began by designing a logo that paid homage to the original company’s branding while aligning it with our established corporate identity. This new logo became the foundation for the aviation division's visual presence. Additionally, I provided design direction for the exterior of our private jets, ensuring that the updated branding was reflected with sleek, modern aesthetics in line with the company brand.

In conjunction with aviation, we also branded our ground transportation with a vehicle wrap. I designed the wrap and sourced a local vehicle wrap company to execute this process under a tight timeline, so we could have it for a video shoot. 

I also collaborated with our team to redesign and outfit our aviation hub in Bozeman to mirror the look and feel of our corporate headquarters. This included designing large-format graphics, exterior and interior logo signage, selecting colors and materials that reflected our brand’s values and sophisticated style.

The result was a seamless integration of our new aviation division into the company’s logistics program, solidifying our position in the transplant industry.

Aviation Division Launch Photoshoot

For the launch of our company's new aviation division, I was tasked with creating impactful visuals to convey the innovation and professionalism behind this exciting new venture. Despite the tight timeline, we managed to pull off a last-minute photoshoot at the airport, showcasing our brand’s expansion into the aviation sector.

Recognizing the urgency, I quickly tapped into my network, finding an experienced photographer within days and coordinating all necessary logistics. From liaising with the airport for permissions to assembling the team, every detail was carefully planned to ensure the shoot reflected the high standards of our new division. The resulting photos not only captured the sleekness of the aviation industry but also conveyed our brand's forward-thinking approach.

The final images became a key asset in our marketing campaign, demonstrating our agility in executing creative projects under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
